Dancers are a remarkable blend of athlete and artist. We are required to seamlessly combine peak physical conditioning with an effortless execution of some very specific and difficult movements, and the training process to get there is rigorous and demanding. It seems to be a common idea that a dancer’s career is short and is often lost to unavoidable injury. While accidents do happen, I strongly believe this doesn’t have to be the case! If you train mindfully, with an understanding of your anatomy and kinesiology working alongside your technique, you can reduce the incidence of injury and prolong your dancing career.
In our training sessions we will focus on the following:
In addition to my lifelong training as a dancer, I am certified in Progressing Ballet Technique and with Acrobatic Arts, and I have studied in the medical flied. I combine all of my knowledge and experience to offer a personalized and effective training plan to help you meet your goals. I will teach you about your body and how it moves, and together we will build healthy balance throughout your body so you can continue dancing and performing for as long as you want to.
I offer a variety of ways to connect. Private appointments are available in person and/or virtually. I also offer workshops and master classes. Please reach out for more details.
