Strength and Flexibility

When it comes to any type of mobility, balance is the key! Flexibility and strength are great tools for injury prevention and overall ease of movement. It is imperative to have both strength and flexibility—with one being more prevalent in your body than the other, the opportunity for injury and pain increase significantly. By arming yourself with a healthy dose of balanced stretching and strengthening, you are setting yourself up for safe and effective movement in any stage of your life. 


In our training sessions we will focus on the following:

  • Correcting misalignment and/or imbalanced muscle use
  • Managing imbalances in flexibility
  • Building strength and flexibility with the focus of movement traveling evenly through the joints which ensures stability 
  • Mindfully increasing strength through slow repetitions with awareness of alignment and correct muscle group activation


We will focus on proactive measures and body awareness, treating the body as a whole, balanced system. I will guide you in learning about the body and how it moves, and will create a personalized plan to help you achieve all of your goals!
